UBI will come from taxes paid by the owners of AI and other corporations. They will bribe the politicians to pay just the least amount of tax to prevent people from starving. UBI will not let you live a life of luxury without your having to work, which would be only possible if we, the citizens of the US, own the AI industry.
We could cut out the middlemen - billionaires, corporations, and politicians, and directly get the dividends of the AI industry.
We could achieve huge productivity gains by developing narrow domain AI such as AlphaFold.
We would not even need AGI. And if we do, we would only need human level intelligence and no more. After all, we only need human level Intelligence to do jobs done by humans. It would be 100% safe AI.
The profits of the AI industry would go to the citizens of the US making them millionaires, and not to the billionaire investors making them trillionaires.

Their excuse is that we are the ones designing these machines, so we could align their morals with human morals.
First try to align your kids morals with yours. For example, President Ronald Reagan was a believer, but his son Ron Reagan is a very vocal atheist.
And also, why would ASI not treat low intelligence humans just as we treat lower intelligence animals - feed them in meat grinders, make them pets, or keep them in zoos?
The extinction of humanity is guaranteed if we invent ASI.
The only way to prevent the extinction of humanity is never to invent ASI.
Unfortunately, the business friendly Republican Party is against all regulations.
Elon Musk has famously said that by default all regulations should be removed unless there is a compelling need to put them back.
It is very unlikely that a ban on ASI will be put by the US government.

Even Bill Gates is only paying lip service to the problems that AI would create. Simply admitting that AI could be risky does not absolve you of the responsibility of making sure people do not suffer because of AI.

As they say, whatever can be imagined can be done. We should be able to do what was done in the movie Matrix where a person could download a program to one's brain to instantly acquire a new skill.
We could build a standardized neural network architecture for all humanoids. A humanoid could acquire a new skill just by downloading the weights into the neural network.
In fact, the industrial robots already work this way. The many robotic arms on a production line are identical but programmed to do different tasks at different stages of the production line.
Think of how humans work.
If you are a chef, you tell your assistant to chop vegetables, say onions. It is a repetitive task which does not require human level intelligence. The humanoid robot can download a program for chopping onions. When carrots have to be chopped, it could download a program for chopping carrots, and so on.
You could easily increase productivity by a factor of 10 by having such humanoids with very little skill.
If the Foundation owns the entire AI industry, it would only sell its services to companies with a 3 day weekend,
As the efficiency of AI improves, AI services will only be sold to companies with a 4 day weekend, and ultimately only to companies with a 5 day weekend. This would ensure that too many people are not out of job as AI workers take over more and more jobs.
The productivity gains will result in increasing the leisure time for everyone.
The collective financial power of consumers far exceeds that of any billionaire, corporation, or the richest nation.
So, how can we, the people, own the entire AI industry?
It is incredibly simple.
It can be done by using our power as consumers, as follows.
You should all stop using every single Chatbot. If your employer forces you to use AI, go on strike.
Stop clicking on Ads. That would kill the revenue of Meta, Google, and X. These are the major companies in the AI field. You could download software which automatically removes Ads from websites.
Use the search engine of the Foundation designed only for searching products and services.
Unsubscribe all Ad emails, and only accept emails from all businesses thorough the mail service of the Foundation. As explained earlier, the sender has to pay for sending a message through the service. If a business only wants to use free email service, boycott that business.
Voluntarily watch as many Ads as possible on the Foundation's App while paying full attention, as described under " How It Works".
Only buy products with "Save The Planet Foundation" logo on it. The Foundation will get a cut in the revenue of Foundation branded products.
If everyone stops using Chatbots, the AI companies will have zero revenue. All AI companies will go into bankruptcy.
The AI companies are struggling right now because the revenue is not increasing fast enough. There is a good chance of the AI bubble bursting very soon.
In fact, we can force the bubble to burst if we act right now. The AI companies are most vulnerable at this time. They are bleeding cash. This is the time to put them out of business. Let us strike while the iron is hot.
If the AI revenue picks up, there will never be another opportunity to buy the entire AI industry.
If we all stop using Chatbots, the Foundation will be the sole buyer of AI companies. The many AI companies will compete to be the first to cash out by selling the company to the Foundation.
We could buy several AI companies for throw away prices. It is that simple.
You do not realize your own power as consumers.
The billionaire and the corporations get money from you only. And so does the government in the form of taxes.

Just the citizens of the US could generate a profit of over $1 trillion per year from advertising and branding. Buying the AI industry would be really easy.

Most of us who read about Nick Bostorm's experiment thought that such a robot should be called super-stupid, not super-intelligent. In fact, it should be called a super-evil monster.
We all thought that It could never happen in real life. Humans will not be stupid enough not to tell the robot to stop after producing a certain number of paperclips.
Unfortunately, Nick Bostrom is absolutely right.
We have human paperclip robots who have been busy trying to maximize the production of paperclips - money, irrespective of the harm their pursuit does to humanity.

The gun industry doesn't care how many kids are killed by guns in school shootings.
The defense industrial complex or the oil industry must have been behind the Iraq war. The WMD scare was manufactured to fool the US public.
The climate industrial complex has convinced everyone that electric cars, solar panels, weatherizing of homes, buying induction ovens instead of gas stoves, and so on will solve the global warming problem. It won't.
There is one and only one way of solving the problem - restoring the preindustrial CO2 level of the planet by using Carbon Dioxide Removal ( CDR ) technology.
The oil industry and lead additive producers, and even some scientists opposed the removal of lead from gasoline. They did not care how many people were harmed by lead poisoning.

They have a one track mind. They have decided to develop Artificial General Intelligence ( AGI ), and Artificial Super-intelligence ( ASI ), irrespective of what happens to humanity.
They cannot even define how AI will benefit humanity.
It is a technology to make life miserable for everyone except a few. There is absolutely no benefit to anyone other than the developers of AI who will make money by taking away everyone's paycheck.
It is a zero sum game. What people lose in income, the paperclip robots gain as income.
The paperclip robots are salivating looking at $11 trillion that is spent on wages in the US every year. They want that $11 trillion to go into their pocket instead of your pockets. And that is just the US market.
Our paperclip robots know that everyone in the world will become a jobless beggar because AGI workers will be able to do every job better than humans and might cost just a few cents an hour.
They also know that ASI will exterminate humanity.
But they don't care how many people lose their livelihood, or their lives.
They believe that someone else should solve the problem created by their technology, just as the fossil fuel industry thinks that it is the governments that should solve the problem created by their defective product.
It is not for the paperclip robots to solve the problem of feeding the beggars created by their technology just as it was not the problem of Sackler family to solve the addiction problem.
Just as the Sackler family did not care how many people were dying, the AI developers do not care if people become beggars and starve, or are ultimately fed into the meat grinders by ASI.
They know that their technology would create a world of extreme scarcity because everyone will be jobless. But they have convinced everyone that it will create a world of extreme prosperity. How? They have no answer.
How unfortunate that everyone has bought into this con job.
The public is so brainwashed that they will argue with you that AI will create a world of abundance.
The public is gladly participating in creating a dystopian world of jobless beggars.
If you ask the paperclip robots about the problem of people losing jobs, they give you a convoluted answer which makes no sense.

Eric Schmidt, the ex-CEO of Google, when asked for advice on what the kids in high school should do to prepare for the world of AI, his response was laughable.
His advice was to solve problems like climate change and energy production using AI.
Eric Schmidt believes that AI is under hyped. Meaning that the valuation of AI companies is still too low. After all, he has to sell his AI stock to you.
He believes that ASI is about 10 years away.
If so, AGI must be just a few years away. Would all jobs not disappear within a few years? But he doesn't want to talk about that. He says that in the next few years the number of jobs will increase.
So what? How is it even relevant to talk about the number of jobs in the next few years if all jobs will ultimately disappear a few years later.
We do not know if Eric Shmidt is genuinely super-stupid like Nick Bostrom's paperclip AI, or gaslighting us. There could be another explanation. According to Yuval Noah Harari, higher intelligence beings tend to be more delusional.
In any case, expecting high school students to solve the climate problem, one of the most difficult problems humanity is facing, is laughable to say the least.
Here is how Jensen Huang , the CEO of Nvidia answered the question on 60 minutes about people losing jobs.
Question.: What about the worker?
Answer: Workers work for companies. And so companies when they become more productive, earnings increase. I have not seen one company that had earnings increase and not hire more people."
The general public is not able to see the stupidity in his answer because they believe that a billionaire cannot be stupid.
Once again, we cannot say if Jansen Huang is genuinely super-stupid just like Nick Bostrom's paperclip AI, or if he is simply gaslighting the public.
Here is the stupidity in his answer.
First of all, his very premise that companies hire more workers because their earnings increase is false. Companies hire more workers because the demand for their product increases.
But let us believe his false premise that when earnings increase a company will hire more workers.
If the earnings increase by replacing expensive human workers with cheap AI workers, would companies not hire more AI workers? Why would they hire the more expensive human workers?
Jansen Huang is not willing to admit that AI will cause loss of jobs.
Then he was asked a second question.
Question: There are some jobs that are going to get obsolete.
Answer : Let me offer it this way. I believe that you still want humans in the loop. Because we have the judgement and there are circumstances that the machines are just not going to understand.
Here, he is truly gaslighting. The very promise of AGI is that it will be able to do every job better than humans. So, why is he saying that humans have the judgement and there are circumstances that the machines are just not going to understand?
And here is what Mark Zuckerberg said about loss of jobs.
"It is a common belief that the people have that clearly it is just going to automate jobs and that jobs are going to go away. That has really not been how the history of technology has worked."
How is history relevant? If every single job can be done by AI workers costing just a few cents an hour, and better than humans, why would any company employ human workers?
Again, we have to question whether Mark Zuckerberg is genuinely super-stupid like Nick Bostrom's paperclip robot, or he is gaslighting us.

His ideas are laughable too. But no one is laughing because a billionaire cannot he stupid.
He believes that the biggest problem the world is facing is not global warming but population decline.
He believes that AI will replace all human workers, and he also believes the world needs more people. For what purpose? Because we need more beggars?
He believes that AI will produce a world of infinite abundance. He also believes that we would need Universal Beggars Income ( UBI ) to feed the jobless beggars created by AI.
You thought 1984 was fiction. Here is the guy with an IQ of Einstein indulging in Double Think - the act of simultaneously accepting two contradictory beliefs as true.

We can achieve the promise of AI overnight. Why do we need AI?
AI is going to flood the US with aliens willing to do jobs for a few cents an hour. A billion of these aliens might come from China in crates- may be in DIY kits - avoiding visa requirements.
The US Republican Party is trying to deport illegal immigrants even though the unemployment rate is just 4.2%. It might reduce the unemployment rate to 3.4% which is the lowest rate in the last 50 years. So much effort to reduce the unemployment rate by 0.8%.
It is comical that the Republican Party has no problem with the development of AI which would bring a billion aliens to flood the US and push the unemployment rate close to 100%.

It is disheartening to see him turned into Nick Bostrom's paperclip robot.
He did not want to sign the open letter published by the Future of Life Institute in March 2023 asking everyone to pause the development of AI.
The obvious reason was that Microsoft was ahead of everyone in AI technology because of its investment in OpenAI. So, he made so many excuses as to why a pause is not a good idea. He was not honest enough to admit that he would not want Microsoft to lose its lead.
And he was right. Microsoft's market cap almost doubled in two years largely because of AI.
He had the opportunity to lead the entire Industry to first solve the problem of AI producing completely wrong results.
The AI industry was fooling the public by calling the wrong results as hallucinations as if there is a person sitting inside the data center.
He joined the other fraudsters who were brainwashing the public that the Chatbots are like humans indulging in cheating, lying, hallucinations, and other human characteristics when in fact the paperclip robots were simply anthropomorphising.
He could have also led the effort of solving the problem of everyone becoming a beggar.
But his interest was in increasing his wealth, even at the cost of making everyone in the world a beggar, let alone helping everyone become a millionaire, or at least more prosperous.
There was also the problem of Nick Bostrom’s paperclip maximizing AI exterminating humanity.
Bill Gates should have joined other humanists like Geoffrey Hinton in tackling the problem before continuing further development of AI.

Both AI and Windows are products from Microsoft. If a Microsoft product has a problem, why should it become an election issue?
Should a product by Microsoft be fixed by Microsoft, or by the US government?
So, why is it even a valid question?
But the interviewer is completely brainwashed just like the people who believe vaccines do not work but Homeopathy does.
If she is super-intelligent, she will not use her intelligence to understand the logic of the above argument but use all her intellectual power to prove that she is not brainwashed.

AI is a software running on the same exact CPU and GPU that is used in a computer. If there is an "it", it is the CPU and the GPU faithfully executing instructions given by the programmer.
If you get a wrong result, it is because of the instructions or the data given to it by the programmer. The CPU and GPU do not add or subtract instructions.
If the programmer asks the CPU to toss a coin to decide what to do next, it will do so. If tossing a coin ends up producing a wrong result, it is not the fault of the CPU.
In fact, this is exactly what the AI software does. That is why you never get the same result using the same exact prompt again.
To say that it is a black box is also a lie. You can instruct the software to keep a copy of every single instruction it is executing. If things go wrong, you can trace all the steps that were executed. This is how computer software is debugged, and this is how the black box in an airplane can tell what happened before the crash.
If Microsoft cannot understand its own product, why is it selling the product?
So, who is actually hallucinating, cheating, and lying are the AI companies, not the the CPU and GPU which produce the result.
Is it not comical for Bill Gates to wonder why AI was not an issue in the last election?

Another paperclip robot like Larry Page is Peter Theil. In a New York Times interview he hesitates to answer the question whether humanity should survive or not.
In the same interview he says that environmental activist Greta Thunberg could be perceived as a modern-day "Antichrist".

The more the AI developers boast that AGI will be able to do every job better than humans, the more they are risking the life of every investor, user of AI, and engineers working on AI.
But why would anyone kill engineers? Remember how the nuclear scientists of Iran were assassinated by Israel.
If people are convinced that the engineers are working on a technology that will put their children into the meat grinders, they would want to kill the engineers before their technology is able to kill their children just as Israel killed the Iranian scientists before they were able to make a nuclear bomb.
It so happens that many of the engineers are immigrants. The current narrative is that the immigrants are bad people poisoning the blood of America. Under such environment the immigrant engineers will be at even greater risk of being killed.
The existential threat from ASI is far away, but the existential threat to paperclip robots from the mob is only a few years away.
People like Sam Altman, the investors, the engineers being hired with $100 million bonuses are playing a dangerous game. But they are too stupid to realize that.

In the American AI Revolution a much larger number is going to be executed. Every single person remotely connected with AI is likely to be executed.
Not only will the investors in AI and the engineers building AI will be executed but even CEO's of companies who lay off workers and replace them with AI workers will be executed.
Even those who use Chatbots will be executed for the crime of funding the technology that is making everyone a beggar, and is also sure to ultimately feed everyone into the meat grinders.
There will be thousands of Luigi Mangione's executing CEO's of companies laying off workers.
They will be treated as heroes fighting for financial freedom instead of the slavery of Universal Beggar's Income.
The US will be divided into two groups - people, and the paperclip robots.
The Luigi Mangiones of the revolution will execute paperclip robots with impunity because they know the entire US population is with them. A US presidential candidate who promises to pardon the killers will become the President.

Further, suppose it is true that upside is three orders of magnitude higher compared to downside. That means the upside is a 1000 times more than downside.
We know that the downside is that everyone will become a jobless beggar.
So, what is a thousand times better upside? That everyone will get Universal Beggars Income?
And there is another downside. Ultimately, AI will feed humans into the meat grinder. What is the upside?
We will discover all the laws of physics before being fed into the meat grinders?
In fact, Peter doesn't even believe that there will be a job loss created by AI.
